ApiLife Var — Natural Varroa Mite Treatment

Managing varroa mites is a key part of keeping strong, healthy honeybee colonies. ApiLife Var offers beekeepers a simple treatment option using a blend of essential oils, including thymol, eucalyptus oil, levomenthol, and camphor.

The treatment comes in tablet form, making it easy to apply directly in the hive without the need for additional equipment. It is commonly used as part of a beekeeper’s seasonal mite management plan.

Recommended Use

For best results, apply when temperatures are between 15°C and 30°C (ideal range: 20°C–25°C).

ApiLife Var should be used when honey supers are removed from the hive. A full treatment requires multiple applications over several weeks.

Each tablet is divided into four pieces and placed on the top bars around the outer edges of the brood box. Always follow the included product directions for proper placement and timing.

Treatment Requirements

• One tablet is used per hive per application
• Approximately 3 tablets (1.5 bags) are needed for a complete treatment
• Up to two treatments may be used per year
